Like if theres like 5-10 mins left on an auction, a surge of watches will appear, and these 5-8 watches wont even bid on the item before the time expires. Whats that all about?
Are they just ‘watching’ the item just so there have a reminder of the item for next time it appears on ebay for cheaper or something?
Strange.

I’m convinced there’s a certain ‘ nosy git ‘ appeal or curiosity in some items, regardless of whether people own them or not to. If you’re selling an item which is particularly nice, rare or of high value, (eg vehicles or antique jewellery), the stock gets considerably higher watchers with only 3 or 4 bids in the end.
My bro sold a rare motorcycle on ebay a few years back, It had 160 watchers and 3 final bids lol.
I’ve always bookmarked, on low interest bargains – I don’t WANT sellers to guess there’s any interest just incase they have a few shill bidding buds at the end of a phone.

They may have an item exactly the same and they want to know how much it sells for. I have a stalker who enjoys watching my items and then removing the watcher in the last five minutes – strange I know , its how people get their kicks!

Sorry i do this!!!!! If lots of similar items i like to see what they tend to go for so when i bid i know what is a good price. Also sometimes change my mind or get distracted by baby before getting a chance to bid!

I`ve done it a few times to see what the out come of an auction is if i have gone out.
But now i just book mark the page so that it doesn`t give the seller any false info on their sale.
aren`t i nice!!
Have a lovely day-pity about the weather thou!
