			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What&#8217;s with the auctions on Ebay, where a caps lock key from somebody&#8217;s keyboard sells for $50? Or the secret of invisibility, or an empty soda can&#8230; and these guys have no negative feedback!!! What&#8217;s going on?<br />
It actually seems that both seller and buyer are getting SOMETHING from this. Had it been a scam seller would not have all this positive feedback. There are books sold on Ebay about how to make money selling nothing.<br />
I&#8217;m not bidding myself, just mystified about scams, if it is one&#8230;</p>

Are they just &#8216;watching&#8217; the item just so there have a reminder of the item for next time it appears on ebay for cheaper or something?<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It just seems pointless to me. Ebay encourages posting an auction as&#8230;the more days you list it for, the better your chance for bidding. While I&#8217;ve found that true in regards to the more days there are, the more people will &#8220;watch&#8221; the item&#8230;they don&#8217;t bid anything until the last 1 or 2 days. I just find that kind of odd. What&#8217;s the point of having 5 or 10 day auctions when nobody actually bids until sometimes the last day or hours before the auction ends? A lot of people seem to go straight for the &#8220;sort by auction ending time&#8221; and purposefully look for the ones that end first. I don&#8217;t know&#8230;I was just wondering if any other people out there thought this was really strange and a waste of time?</p>
