I Had Someone Take My Money From A Sale On Ebay. What Can I Do?

He gave his cell number and said if interested to call him. All offers would be considered. So we did and we worked out a deal outside of the auction. He promised to end the auction after we sent the money via MoneyGram. He ended the auction and picked up the money. He was to call us back within the hour to provide a tracking number. He never did. His cell went straight to voicemail (which was full so we couldnt leave a message) for 2 days. I have his name, his cell number, an address (not sure if it is really his). I have contacted the FTC, National Fraud Information Center, Internet Crime Complaint Center, and filed a police report with my county. What else can I do?!? Trust me, hubby got an ear full for sending a complete stranger $2,000 via MoneyGram. He feels pretty crunchy about it. Anyway, to add on to this the ebay seller tried selling the same rims in another auction in which he had a “winner”. I immediately contacted this “winner” and warned him. (cont.)

Ebay–is It Strange She’s Offering Me A Money Order Instead Of A Paypal Payment?

I had an auction that ended on 10/5.
The bidder did not pay, so I filed an Unpaid Item Dispute on 10/13.
She contacted just now saying her mom is in the hospital, so she wants to send me a money order.
Is this strange?
I mean, she has about 25 positive feedbacks as a buyer (Her rating is 100%), so she must have a Paypal account.
Or couldn’t she make one if she didn’t have one?
She obviously has internet access, since she was able to contact me.
I sympathize with her situation and I’d like to accomodating, but I’m a fairly new seller and this seemed strange to me. No?

Weird Ebay Auctions? I Dont Understand Why Ppl Pay This Kinda Money? Thoughts Please.?

I was bored looking at ebay and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ANGEL-OF-THIS-HAUNTE… Why is the bid so High? I noticed the pictures at the bottom of money. Is this an illegal bid on counterfeit bills and the rings a cover? Ppl aren’t stupid enough to pay 1,400 for a Supposed haunted ring for *entertainment purposes only. Right?
