eBay question–How do deal with fraudulent buyer?

I listed my phone for a buy it now for $250. Within one hour of my putting the item up, someone bought it. However, they have not paid for it. The address that came in the email is a California address, but when I click send invoice the address is a very strange address with all of these letters and numbers And at the bottom it says “Russian federation”. I emailed the buyer to see what address I should ship it to, but he has not responded. I checked his account history, and he made his eBay account just today ( the same day I posed the auction).

Please help me… What should it do?

Virus/spyware? Double posts, emails, bids?

I’ve been having this problem for a while now. My forum posts most of the time automatically double themselves, with simultaneous posting time. Same thing with my emails, the receivers will receive double mail with same time and content. Most troubling of all is ebay. Regular auction bids are fine, but Buy-It-Now items are problematic. Whenever the sender has more than 1 quantity of a B-I-N item and I decide to buy only 1, it’ll turn into 2 separate buys/transactions with the same ending time. I dont’ know if this is caused by a virus or a spyware, but both my laptop and desktop at home have this problem. This also happens when I bring my laptop outside and use another network, so it’s a weird problem…

on ebay, if someone hasn’t paid you, but its not been 4 days yet, but…?

I put up my iphone 3g on ebay. Not even 20mins after someone hit the buy it now for $500, of course they had no feedback and had just created their account that day. I’ve been trying to contact them ever since the auction ended and he only sent me one message before I sent him any just saying “hey mate, is the item in good condition” ….obviously I mentioned the condition and listed photos so why’d he ask that.. is weird. So its been 2 days now and I am in a rush to get this money, I want to re-list the item now because I’ve a feeling they are not going to pay up.

MY MAIN QUESTION:

If I re-list the item now, since ebay asks you to wait for 4 days until you open a case for the buyer not paying, will ebay still charge me the fees they billed to my credit card when the item sold for $500? Or will they return those fees, and/or will I be able to open a case later saying the first person never paid me? I really don’t want $40 billed to my card when the first $20 I never got from the douche who didn’t pay up.
So if this was a scammer, what exactly was his purpose, because I don’t see what good it does him to just hit the buy it now button and only contact me once to ask the condition of the product? I’ve not heard from him at all. WHAT WAS HE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THIS?! D:

I Need Some Help With Purchasing A Wireless Router?

I want to buy my bf a wireless router for Christmas. So I can’t ask him for any help. This is what I need: one with good range, under $60, free or not outrageous shipping, accepts Mastercard not associated with paypal because I can’t hook my Mastercard up to paypal for some bizarre reason. The router must be able to be hooked up to Vista, Win 7, and an xbox. It can either be from Amazon, Ebay, or some other site that you deem worthy. And NO AUCTIONS! I appreciate your help in this matter. I need info either tonight or tomorrow. Thank you so much!!!

What are those E-Bay auctions selling that list a useless item and state anything else received is a gift?

I’m just curious. Sometimes when I’m killing time, I look at those “really weird stuff” auctions on ebay. What are they selling when they list something such as two matches and then say “I am selling two matches, anything else you receive is a gift” I’m not going to waste my money on these but am curious why people are paying $200 for whatever it is they are selling.

On Ebay, what does it mean when someone becomes a “watcher” of my item?

My item has 5 watchers, but no bids? Do these people usually turn out to be bidders? I’m new to Ebay so IDK. Here is my auction: (It is a weird item so don’t ask lol)

Is it safe to pay with a credit card on ebay???

The seller will not accept Paypal; only a credit card.
